The submitted film must

• - be made in one or more than one of the Chinese languages (Mandarin, Cantonese, or other dialects); or

• - be produced, directed, written, filmed, or acted in by at least one ethnic Chinese or Asian filmmaker (regardless of the place of residence).

The submitted film must provide English subtitles/captions if the dialogues are not in English.

The submitted film should be made after January 1, 2023.

The submitted film should run no longer than 30 minutes.

We welcome all genres and themes.

Applicants may submit more than one title, but an entry fee is required for each title.

We do not request premiere from applicants.

Once selected, the copyright holder of the submission must authorize the selected title to be screened at least once at the festival in Berlin, and allow us to use related promotional materials.
